Another face to face encounter (Ukitake)

Slowly, Karei walks around the corner, back to the carp pond she'd last seen Ukitake at. She shifts her left arm in the sling it's placed in, her shoulder is covered in bandages and she curses under her breath and she tries to scratch her arm.
"Stupid hollow, I should've killed that one first."
She mutters to herself and stops along side the pond, looking out over the water with a slight blush to her face.

Her eyes widden even more but slowly they close and she leans back towards him. Praying in her head that she didn't mess up her first kiss.

Ukitake finally connected his lips with Karei's. His eyes were shut. His heart was beating way past the human heart attack level by now he was sure of it.

Karei almost faints as they finally kiss, but manages to keep upright. She couldn't even feel her hear tbeating right now, though she was sure it was frantic nonetheless. Her face is now dark cherry red and warm.

Ukitake keeps his lips connected with her. He was very scared , happy and anxious all at the same time. He felt like he wanted this moment to last forever it was one of the best moments in his lifetime. Which by the way was a very long time.

Slowly her amrs begins moving, and wrap around his neck. The euphoria of the kiss was making her a bit dizzy, yet she loved it all the same. Everything seemed to fade away, it was just them.

Ukitake wrapped his arms too around Karei's neck. This was the best he has felt in a very long time. He hasn't felt this good since he was not sick even the forest where he feels fine didn't make him feelt his good.

She slowly begins to slightly sway, feeling a bit dizzy now. She clings ot his neck to keep from falling over, not wanting this to end, ever.

Ukitake had as much of a smile on his face that he could without breaking it. To stop her from falling over he straightens up his body. He was keeping them both up now. He did not want it to end either.

Karei's lungs start screaming at her for air but she ignores them. Starting to sway a bit more now from being light headed.

Ukitake presses in tthere for a little bit longer. He then finally knew this had to end eventually. He then pulled back alittle bit still having his arms around her neck. He smiled at her.

After a moment she looks back at him and returns the smile. She's speechless as she catches her breath, her face is a light pinkish color.

Ukitake let go. He rubbed his head. He was speechless he had nothing to say at all. He was slightly embarressed that he had nothing to say at all. He looked up at her " So... " He said towards her while he was trying to think of something to say.

"So.."
She says back, at a complete loss for words. Nervous she begins playing with a strand of her hair, trying to figure out what to say now.

Ukitake saw she had no idea what to say either. This was a very akward moment they were in. " What does this mean now? " He asked. He wanted to make sure he didn't mess this up.

"I'm entirely sure, this is all new to me so I'm clueless."
She admits looks at her feet and still twsiting her hair around her finger. What did this mean?

" Heh , heh. " Ukitake said in a very confused manner. He had no idea what to do either. He looked over at her then back at the ground. He honestly did not know what to do he thought he should bu he just didn't

"Well, maybe we should give this whole relationship thing a shot?"
She says, keeping her gaze to the ground and her face becoming even brighter.

Ukitake looked up at her " That works , I think that would be great. " Ukitake said towards her. He like that idea. t was a good one. But again he was lost as in what to do now. He sighed and smiled towards her.

She smiles back and lays her head on his shoulder, closing her eyes.
"I think it will be great too~"

Ukitake looks down at her on his shoulder. He leans against a wooden pole as a support to the house. He the rests his hand on her shoulder. " Yes it will. "

"Did you ever think that this would happen?"
She asks out of pure curiosity, because she certainly didn't see this. It was surrpise, but she didn't mind at all.

" No I certainly did not think this would happen , but I like it. " Ukitake said. He looked up at the sky seeing the sun setting off in the distance. Ukitake coughed alittle bit but he got it back under control quickly. He rubbed her shoulder alittle bit to let her know he was fine.

Karei is a bit worried when she hears him cough but smiles softly as he rubs her shoulder.
"Neither did I, but I like it too."

" Yeah , I know. " Ukitake said as he looked down at her and smiled. This was probally the greatest day of his life. Ukitake was loving it.

Looking up she smiles back at him, still blushing softly. This was the best thing that'd ever happened to her, with a life filled with lose it felt great to finally gain something.

Ukitake slightly laughed that she was still blushing but then he stopped. He looked back up at the sky. The sun had just set over the mountians in the horizion.
