Another face to face encounter (Ukitake)

Slowly, Karei walks around the corner, back to the carp pond she'd last seen Ukitake at. She shifts her left arm in the sling it's placed in, her shoulder is covered in bandages and she curses under her breath and she tries to scratch her arm.
"Stupid hollow, I should've killed that one first."
She mutters to herself and stops along side the pond, looking out over the water with a slight blush to her face.

Ukitake heard some one outside he wasn't sure exactly who it was. H had been thinkng lately about that one day with the whole pond ordeal. He went outside to see who it was. " Karei , Its good to see you! " Ukitake said as he came out of the house with a slight smile on his face. It had been awhile since he seen her.

Heaing Ukitakes voice she turns to see him and smiles softly, the blush slightly becoming more defined.
"It's good to see you too, how have you been?"
She asks, adjusting her arm again and hoping that he wouldn't get to over worked on her left arms current state.

" I have been better but im fine , you dont appear as well " Ukitake said as he looked over at her bandaged shoulder. " You ok? ". He asked her. He was wondering it kinda made him feel weird he normally didn't mind peoples injurys but this one did even the slightest damage mabey because they were so close He didn;t know.

"Oh, I was fighting a bunch of hollows and managed to kill some of them. But one managed to get behind me and bite into my shoulder. But it's ok, I'll live I'm just lucky I got to keep my arm."
She says softly, hoping that her shoulder healed quickly.

" Yeah , You are , im glad you survived. " for some reason his eyes couldn't move from her shoulders.He finally managed himself to move them from it and moved his eyes at her in general " So , what brings you by? "

"Can't I stop by and say hello?"
She says in mock anger, trying to make the mood a bit lighter in the air.
"I just thought I'd stop by, say hello and just talk for a while."

" Oh , yes , yes " Ukitake said towards her. He looked at her. He was at a loss of words. He really didnt know what to say for a bit then walked back alittle bit towards the house and sits down " have a seat. "

She walks over and sits next to him.
"So, what have you been doing since I've been away?"
She asks, wondering how he has been and if everything was going well.

He sat there thinking quickly. Did he tell about what hes been thinking since that day or make something up. He was going to see how things went first. " Not much , besides your arm you? " Ukitake asked her. He was wondering what he should do.

"Pretty much nothing beside my arm, I met a few interesting people but that's about it."
Shrugging at the last part she pushes a strand of hair out of her face.

" Isee , like who? " Ukitake asked. He was sort of worried at that comment. He was sort of wondering what was going on. Part of him wasn't scared at the comment though. Ukitake felt like it was a civil war of his emotions.

"Well, I met this one young man Ichigo, he seemed nice enough. I also met Yoichi Sano vice captain of squad 5."
(short again XD )

" Oh yeah I know them the vice-captain and the worlds scariest substitute shinigami. " Ukitake said jokingly. He felt better there was nothing to worry about. Why was he scared. He really didnt know. He looked over towards her. He had a slight smile on his face.

She giggles softly with him.
"Yeah, he was kinda rash and a little scary to be honest. But he's nice outside of the battle feild htough he doesn't show it much."

" Yeah he is. " Ukitake said. He figured it was now or never. He sighed " I have been thinking lately about that day when you were here and how I felt and feel sometimes , I figured that I really like you , as well more than a friend. " Ukitake said as his heart was beating extremly fast.

Karei's eyes widden and her face turns almost bright red. After a moment she begins laughing hysterically.
"Oh my God!! I can't believe this, you won't believe this, but I was just going to say that!!"

" What!? " Ukitake asked in a happy yell with slight bits of laughter in there. That was a relief for him. His heart stopped beating very fast. He began to wonder what does that mean? He didnt really know

She clears her throat and nods, blushing still.
"Yeah, I've been thinking a lot about it too."
Looking down to her feet she doesn't know what to do or say now.

" Well then..." Ukitake said. He also had no idea what to do next. He actually never been in that serious of a posistion like this before he had when he was younger some random girlfriends but he really didnt care about them like he did about Karei.

"I'm not sure what to do now."
She says, stil lightly blushing and scratching the back of her head. She'd had a crush on a few guys when she was younger, but they always turned her down saying she was kinda weird or something like that.

Ukitake had no idea what to do. He then remeber what one of his brothers told him abouttimes like this. He wasn't exactly sure about this but he was going to try it. He looked up over at her. He sighed he it goes. He slightly moves overn and moves his hand through her hair slightly motioning her to slightly raise her head.

Karei's blush returns to it's previous color and slowly she turns her head towards him. Looking into his eyes and her heart beating a million miles an hour.

Ukitake's heart was also beatig so hard he thought he would have a heart attack right there on the spot if Shinigami could. He closed his eyes and closed his head in going in for a kiss. He was s hoping he would not blow it.

Her eyes widden even more but slowly they close and she leans back towards him. Praying in her head that she didn't mess up her first kiss.
