Just another quiet afternoon {Tag: Ukitake}

First topic message reminder :

Under a tree in the forested areas of the Rukongai, the new captain fo the fourth divison Karei Airen sits watching the sky. She'd decided to slip away from her paperwork to get some fresh air and peace on this oddly quiet day.
"It sure is quiet, oh well, might as well enjoy the peace while I can."
She lays back against the bark of the tree behind her and closes her eyes, listening to the sound of the wind blowing through the leaves above her.

" I know what you mean I have a few friends like Shunshi but he isn't much of a talker more of a drinker. " Ukitake slightly laughed at the though of himself trying to talk to him while getting offer a 3rd glass of sake.

"One guy I can never get is Kenpachi. Just between us, I think he's a few cards short of a full deck. The guys always running around looking for fights, I don't get him at all."
She shakes her head, thinking of just a few days ago when he ran up to her and almost cut her arm off trying to challenge her.

" Personally when I have a choice i choose to stay away from Kenpachi , ask about any captian and ill lett you know what you want if i can. " Ukitake had a smile one his face slightly. He loved when Kenpachi scared people.

" Thats just him he doesn't really like to talk about it but he used to be nice and happy but he lost his wife and now well he's like that dont say i mentioned anything though , anyone else?. " Ukitake said.

She nods sadly, she'd heard of Byakuya's loss.
"I can't think of anyone else really. And don't worry, mum's the word with him."Smiling, she looks back up at the night sky.

" It's fine " Ukitake says his hair falls down into his eyes. He then blows it upwards and gets it out of his eyes. He laughs alittle bit then looks up towards the stars again.

Karei giggles softly with him, brushing a few strands of her own hair out of her face.
"It's so peaceful out tonight."
A soft yawn escapes her, it was late, but she wanted to stay for a bit longer.

Yes it is , I wish they were all like this " Ukitake smiled he then looks over at her again " Tired? " He asked her he already knew the answer but he decided to ask anyway.

"A litle bit, but I'm fine. How are you holding up?"
She asks, wondering if her yawn had made being tired contagious.

Im good but I could sleep though " Ukitake said. It was actually pretty late. Time had flown by them. Sometimes he wished him and who ever he was having fun with at the time could just be suspended in time that way they never get tired , never have events to deal with they can just talk and things all day.

"Yeah, I could use some sleep myself. With all this paperwork I've been having to catch up on I've gotten only a few hours fo sleep a night."
Yawning again, her mind back tacks to all the works she's had to do lately. Just thinking about it began giving her writers cramp.

" Wanna head back? " Ukitake asked her. He didn't care one way or another. He was wondering too how much paper work he had piling up at his office.

"That sounds good, I need to get a decent nights sleep or I might collapse from exhaustion."
She sits up and streches her arms, cracking her back a bit in the prosses. Jumping to her feet she offers her hand to help him up this time.

Ukitake smiled at that and took her hand " Thank you " He said towards her as he began to walk off he stopped to see if she was coming with him.

She follows after him down the hill, wanting to get back inside out of this slightly chilly weather for a decent nights sleep.
"Like I said, anytime."
She smiles and begins walking back towards the serite.

They finally re-arrive into the Seireitei. " So ill see you again soon? " Ukitake asked her. He had a gentle smile on his face.

"Defintely my friend."
She says smiling as she starts heading towards her quarters. The thought of a good nights sleep sounded wonderful to her, along with the thought of once again enjoying a peaceful day with her new friend.
