Just another quiet afternoon {Tag: Ukitake}

Under a tree in the forested areas of the Rukongai, the new captain fo the fourth divison Karei Airen sits watching the sky. She'd decided to slip away from her paperwork to get some fresh air and peace on this oddly quiet day.
"It sure is quiet, oh well, might as well enjoy the peace while I can."
She lays back against the bark of the tree behind her and closes her eyes, listening to the sound of the wind blowing through the leaves above her.

She takes his hand and stands up.
"Thank you Ukitake."
She begins walking toward the hills, she had full knoledge she could shunpo there in a matter for seconds, but she felt like walking since it was much more calming and gave her a chance to talk to him while they walked.

Ukitake begins to walk next to her at her left side. " So its my turn now if im correct? " Ukitake asked her as he slightly cocked his head as to symbolize he was asking a question towards her.The wind picked back up again and begins o press his Haori from his back again.

"Why yes it is my friend, tell me all I ned to know, fire away."
She smiles softly at him, brushing her hair out of her face as the wind blows it into her eyes.

" I am Jushiro Ukitake , Captain of the 13 squad division, lets see somethings i like to do are feed the carp in my family estate , I like night time over day and im writing a child book seris " Ukitake said towards her. They were still walking. They still had a bit to go but the sun had just set off behind the mountains.

"Really? Sounds fascinating, maybe I could come over next to you feed the carp?"
She says, thnking of how fun that might be. This was turning well in her favor, so far they both loved to just relax and just stop along the road of life to smell the roses.

It sounds fun , anytime you like. " Ukitake said. He smiled slightly at that comment. He would like that. They then reached the hills. They were here and even the stars were here Ukitake thought as he looked up quickly at them then looked over at her as they climbed up the hills.

Karei climbs up to the top and smiles back at him.
"From my experiance, it's best to watch them laying down."
Sitting on the grass she lays back looking up at the sky.
"this way you get a better veiw of the sky, and to me it's more comfortable."

Ukitake nods towards her aknowledging what she just said. Ukitake reaches the top of the hill. Ukitake sitsdown next to her. He lays back on the grassy hill. His Haori spwaled out across the field. He puts his arms behind his head and watches the stars. It was more fun than she described it. " They are amazing "

"Yes, looking up at the stars make you feel so small. You know, some of the oldest stories are written right here."
She motions up to the night sky with her hands palms up.

They seem so... pure while this world is full of so much hate and death serietei or Human world they both are the stars remain purified it reminds you good can come from the most unlikely places I can see where many people can get inspired from this place out here " Ukitake says towards her.

"Yeah, these moment make me think about how fragile we all really are, and how we have to cherish the life we have while we still have it."
She respondes back to him, this was turnign out to be one of the best days she'd had in a very long time. She and Ukitake seemed to have a lot in common, their insites on life, interests and maybe other things.

" Yeah it does , doesn't it... " Ukitake said towards her. He sat there for awhile quietly at a loss of words. This new captain was nice one he could relate to while he often kept around Shunshi he really didn't care much for the others Kenpachi , Mayuri , Byakuya , Soi Fon. He like Toshiro alittle bit but Toshiro didn't really.

"The oldest sotry book is right here in front of us, thousands of tales are told right form the stars."
She places her arms behind her head, scanning the skies for familiar constilations.

" You are right arn't you those stars were around before us , and will be after us , I bet they have been around before this world. " Ukitake said as he glared up at them. The sky was a clear one tonight so none where hiding before mask's known as clouds.

" It does , it also makes you wonder if we are not alone what do we look like to those on those planets who are doing what we do. " Ukitake said. He did wonder that , did it look beatiful like those places did or look like a dark hole like most of the people who inhabitited it were besides the few exceptions Himself , Karei and the others.

"Yeah, I love the sky at night. There's just something calming about it."
Her tan eyes keep scanning the night sky until she reaches up with her right hand and traces lines in the air.
"I see a few constilations I'm familiar with up there"

" Really which ones? " Ukitake asked Karei wondering which of these she is looking at. He scanned over them all to see what they all looked like they could be. He saw a few possible figures in them but he wan't very sure about it.

"Well that one to your left is Libra, the one on the far right is Leo, and way over there is Capricorn."
She says pointing them out, she'd studied a few of these and memorized the gathering of stars that made them up.

" I see , those are interesting , thank you Ukitake smiled slightly. He did find it interesting. He was dissappointed he never took a interest in the stars before. He was happy that he did look at then now though.

"Anytime, these is the moments you want to last forever, huh?"
Placing her arms back behind her head she looks back up at the sky. She liked having someone like Ukitake to talk to, it seemed no one lese was interested in this kind of stuff.

" Yeah sometimes you do dont you. " Ukitake said. He was enjoying this. The stars were great , he got a new friend his sickness wasn't bothering him he hasn't felt this good in years.

A smile spread on her face, this was one of the best days of her life. At long last she had a friend who she could have instightful conversations with. Trying to start one with others was almost impossible, she liked the others, but she'd always longed for someone to just talk ot for hours like Ukitake.

Ukitake closed his eyes and slowly breathed in the air. It smelled diffrent then it ussually does. Was it the mountains diffrence in the ar quality or was it something else Ukitake couldn't tell. He then opened his eyes again. He looked over at Karei quickly and saw her smiling " Happy? " He asked.

She turns her head towards him and nods.
"I finally have a friend who I can have an insightful conversation with. The others are nice, but I've always wanted a friend to just talk to for hours."

" I know what you mean I have a few friends like Shunshi but he isn't much of a talker more of a drinker. " Ukitake slightly laughed at the though of himself trying to talk to him while getting offer a 3rd glass of sake.
